Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum

Community Programs

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum is the result of overwhelming grassroots support to make Cleveland the Museum’s permanent home. This support enabled the creation of one of the premier museums in the country, and the only one that preserves the history of a truly American art form—Rock and Roll—the music that changed the world! And while we are proud of our national and international prominence, we are equally proud of and committed to honoring our community roots. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum embraces Cleveland’s diversity with programs designed by the Community Programs Department to highlight and celebrate our community’s cultural strengths.

The Community Programs Department establishes partnerships, initiatives, collaborations and programs that give the community a sense of ownership of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum. Additionally, programs such as the Museum’s Community Festivals reinforce the Museum’s commitment to educating visitors, fans and scholars about the history and continuing significance of rock and roll music.
